6631 House
This 1956 ranch home in Portland had potential, it was just covered up in an artificial sea of white aluminum siding. Capitalizing on the house's mid-century charm with it's low-lying roof and hidden linework, the house was transformed from an albino frog into a dashing prince with new cedar rainscreen siding, windows, roof, and some strategically placed skylights. The perimeter yard fence echoes the wood of the house to keep with the strong horizontal lines and emphasizes the "exterior room" the backyard. We did the landscaping too.
